TRIBUTE TO M.P.

LATE LIEUT. A. G. HULTQUIST

At Monday's meeting of the Borough Council, His Worship the Mayor piaiid tribute to the late Lieult. A. G. Hultquilst, stating that he had been well known to all, who would) agree even if their political opinions might differ, that he was a first class Member who fully represented! his electors. Mr Barry said although on occasions he had differed in opinion with the late Lieut Huitquist he had always fouind him ready to give full cooperation, and 1 when on several occasions, he had sought to enlist his support and assistance he had found it readily forthcoming. His Worship asked members to be present at a memorial service which was to be held' on the Domain on Sunday next, and then members stood in silence as a mark of restpect.
