Sir, —As I had the pleasure of ■ bringing Mr John Hogan before the | public of Whakatane, I think it Is only fair to say that Mr H.i C. Brown had a real good hearing and got the . reply coiirteous when he proceeded to interject from the body of the hall during Mir John, Hogan's lecture on the> 22nd O'ctober. If he had better ideas for a reconstruction of our financial and economic difficulties after the war he might have let us have them instead of this burst of hysteria and misconstruction on a very able speaker, and finally for the benefit of Mr Brown and the public generally as toi the position in Alberta, the Premier there, Mr William Aberhart at the last elections was put back into office by an overwhelming majority. Alber-ta is issuing her own currency in "Treasury Vouchers." This could not be done if she was not financial, being the only one out of the many provinces of the Dominion of Canada emerging from capitalistic control. Yours etc., W. BRADSHAW, Taneatua.
