PETROL PRICE
ANOTHER RISE OF Id a GALLON
An increase of Id a gallon in the price of petrol operated from Satday, and is provided for in the Motor Spirits Price District Regulations (1941) Amendment No. 2, gazetted last Aveek. It is understood that the increase is to cover higher -overseas costs and shipping rates. The price of petrol in Whakatane --as a result stands at 2/10%.
