HOME GUARD
CHANGE TO ARMY CONTROL PROCEEDING FORMATION OF DIVISLOiNS Under Army control there will still be two battalions in, the Whakatane Home Guard area and! those in charge are at the moment effecting the formation of Divisions 1 and' 2 of the present personnel. It is the intention to grade men into Grade 1 who are not likely to be dtawn for overseas service for some time. Appointment of officers will shortly be made.
