MOST SUCCESSFUL MAORI FARMER PRESENTATION AT OPOTIKI Advice has been received that the Ahuwhenua trophy presented by Lord Bledisloe when Gov-ernor-General of !New Zealand) -for the most successful Maori farmer, will! be presented to the' past season's winner, at Omarujnutu Pa, neax Opotiki on Tuesday, September 16, by the Acting Minister of Native Affairs, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason. The 1 occasion will be an important one from the Maori viewpoint and arrangements are already in hand for a large gathering from' Whakatane and surrounding ais* iricis.
