Whakatane representatives turned up at Matata fifteen strong on Saturday to contest Rangitaiki. in the ■final for the Parata Cup, but at the last minute it was found that the "home side was unable to fill its ranks and the game did not take place, to the disappointment of officials of the Unions and supporters.
