The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., reports 3 ■good yarding of cattle at Te Teko •vvlTtf beef prices showing a distinct rise on late rates. About 80-yearl-ing Jersey heifers brought „ very Cood competition while the springing heifers, although not of as good -equality as sales sold very readily. Cood Jersey heifers close to proTit from £9 10s to £11; later calvers from £7 to £9 ss; small backward from £5 to £6 10s. The advertised line of yearling heifers made from £5 10s to £6, with a few smajfy I'otr, from £3 2s 6d to £1 10s. Heavy fat Jersey cows and heifers from £ ( J £9 14s; medium fat cows from £6 to £6 18s; kill able cows from £4 10s to £5 10s; cull cows from £>1\ l(fe fo £4 4s according to weight.
