MATCH AT TANEATUA
Although not. at , full strength Maori and Pakeha teams met al Taneatua on Saturday for the Jackson Shield and the result was 10-9 in favour of the Maori team. The Whakatane Union selectors were present to choose players to meet the Rangitaiki team at Matata on Saturady next in the final game for the Parata Cup. This match will be the last representative fixture of the season and the teams will be announced on, Wednesday.
