BRIDGE PARTY

PLUNKET SOCIETY FUNDS

A very enjoyable bridge party, the proceeds of which were devoted to the Plunket Society's funds* took place in the Parish Hall recently. As a result the sum of £3 was raised and a number of interesting competitions were held. The winner of an iced cake was Mrs Wallace with the number 188.

Those present included Mes-dames W. Bridger, G. Otley, Winstone, J. Boon, R. Boos, Campbell, Suckling. A. Bridger, C. S. Armstrong, Mollgaiud, Dawson, Pcarse, Conncll, Appleby, Smith, F. Sumner, Roberts. G. R. Kent. H. Dewar, Donaldson. Rex Morpeth, Rayner, Nichols and Miss Bryant.
