Prior to the Taneatua Ladles' Committee giving this service, Gisborne men returning from final leave travelled all night receiving >10 refreshments until reaching T'auranga late towards lunch time. As has been indicated by a letter iu the Beacon the service the Tane»atua ladies are giving is greatly appreciated, by the men. Tt was stated at the meeting that a similar service is being given by Opotiki ladies.
