FROSTFISH CAUGHT

SEVERAL AT OHOPE BEACH A RARE DELICACY During the: recent cold snap a number of frostiish were captured at Ohope. The most recent one came to hand on Wednesday morning and was caught by a Maori, who was riding along the shorei and noticed it coming in. It was a 'beauty' measuring 6ft Gin and with more fish on it than usual. Frostfish, are considered a rare delicacy, and in cities fetch fantastic prices, being sold as high asj 7/6 per lb.
