These championships Avere Avon by local exhibitors, although the contest attracted a large entry and some Avell known exhibitors including E. J. PosAvillo, of Gisborne, J. Sutton, of tiaAvera, J. Salt, of Auckland, and Acres of Hamilton. In the White Leghorn and Australorps classes there Avere also numerous entries and the standard excellent. It Avas particularly gratifying to the officials that such success Avas enjoyed as many centres are this year not holding their slioavs and to receive so many exhibitors supported the local club's decision to carry on. In the report of the placings appearing in our last issue an error occurred, the owner of the champion duck (Khaki Campbell drake) being Mr W. R. Sloane, and not Mr Eagle.
