Sir,—l am very pleased to know the "Editor" got in touch with the "Secretary" re my remarks as to Pipe Band on Anzac Day for v hich [ thank the Editor. When he stated that the Pipe, Band left Whakatane to go to Opotiki where, it took a prominent part in the. proceedings, that was very nice for Opotiki I'm | sure! But what about the prominent part in Whakatane, was not tho. public of Whakatane and the Caledonian Society which supports the Band, entitled to a little consideration on suoh an important occasion. Yours etc., r WAKE UP PIPE BAND. —
