Sir, —I was interested in a statement appearing in j r our issue on the 7th inst that Mr Savage had been nominated as a candidate for the Nukuhou Riding. The siatement goes om to say that a requisition had been signed by 75 per cant of the votes likely to be, recorded at the poll. (A statement that should be taken with a pinch of salt by ths ratepayers). Then follows- an outline of the policy to be carried out by Mr Savage if elected.
