POPPY DAY

R.S.A. ANNUAL APPEAL

DESERVING FUND

• The local branch; of the Returned Soldiers' Association is making its one and only annual appeal for funds to-day by the sale of poppies. Always a deserving cause, this year it becomes more worthy, as the: Association has shouldered since the outbreak of war many more responsibilities, undertaking not only the care of the welfare of men who served overseas in the Great War, but also is acting "the big brother" to the boys who to-day are taking part in the world conflict.
