SILVER WEDDING
PARTY AT OHOPE
The occasion of Mr arid Mrs CHarris's silver wedding, was celebrated by members of their family and a few friends at their home, Ohope Beach, last Saturday evening. 'One of those real old-fashioned par{lies" as one of those present described the gathering, and one and all came away with the feeling that after all there was 'something* in-the socials of yesterday. Games and competitions kept everybody happily employed till supper time, when the occasion was; taken to formally wish the guests of the evening the best of luck, joy and happiness., Cheers and musical honours followed, and Mrs Harris was the recipient of a 'surprise* parcel, which by popular demand was opened wrapper by wrapper in front of the assembled guests.
