WHAKATANE CLUB'S OPENING COURSE MUCH IMPROVED The new .senson for the Whakatanc Golf Club opens on Saturday week (April oth). The course since the closc of the last season has been given constant attention and as a result is in first class order. The sward is perfect and the whole appearance is perhaps better than ever before. Members are looking forward with confidence to the new season, for In spite of the difficult times now being experienced the club finds itself still with a strong membership and a keen executive. A hearty welcome is extended to all who are interested to attend and to take if possible an active part in the day's play.
