COUNCIL AND OHOPE ROAD INSPECTION MADE YESTERDAY Commencing the monthly meeting early yesterday the Whakatane County Council! thus made provision for time to be spent on an inspection of the suggested road at Ohope. In the earlty afternoon members ■visited the beach and following an inspection of the road 1 the following decision was reached :

"That the deputation which waited on the council at its February meeting be respectfully advised that the council is not prepared to take any action in the matter of the dedicating of the road commonly known as 1 to 58 Ohope."
