INQUEST HELD
DEATH OF INFANT An inquest into the death of Garry George Hicks aged two years live months, the only son of Mr and Mrs V. H. Hicks, of Whakatane, -who died on Sunday last was held this week, Mr G. A. Brabant, district coroner, presiding. Evidence was given that the child iiad while holding a pointed stick in his mouth fallen and the stick had penetrated a blood vessel in the throat. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
