SUCCESSFUL MEETING SOME KEEN CONTESTS A A'cry successful sports meeting organised by Mr Tui Tawera and a willing band of helpers Avas held at Ruatoki on Pyxing Day. The Aveatiier Avas fine, Oxenham's sound system helping k> make the day a success. The canteen'headed by Mrs J. Mierrito and J. Dempster, Avith a wil ling band of Maori helpers) Avas a great success. The day concluded Avith a fancy dress dance organised by\he Women's Club, The committee Avould like to thank the very AviHing helpers aylioi put 3n such a strenuous day, and especially Mr Hallett and Mr P.
