FIRST AID EXAMINATION
MATATA ST. JOHN'S AMBULANCE CLASS A' series of St, John's Ambulance lectures conducted by Dr Maaka, of Taneatua, and practical .instruction given by Mr A. Carling assisted byother members of the Whakatane St. John's Ambulance Brigade, was brought to a conclusion on Tuesday night by an examination .of 12 members from Matata and Awakaponga. The examination was Carried by Dr. E. Tewsley Dawson, Medical Superintendent of the Whakatane Hospital. Mr H. Carr acted as class secre-' tary. Results are now eagerly awaited.
