The Farmers' Auctioneering Go. report, baying held their fortnightly sale at the above yards on day. A large yarding of pigs were offered to a fui] ..bench of buyers. BaconeTS were penned in large num bers and sold under keen competition. We quote:— Heavy baconers £4 !)s to £4 12s; medium baconers £4 3s to £4:' ("is; light baconers £3 18s to £4; heavy porkers to £3 10s; buttermilk pigs £2 15s to £3 ss; slips 23s to 355; weaners 12s to 18s; choppers £3 to £5 4s. - The next sale; will be held on Monday, January 13, 1941.
