FORMATION OF 'HOME GUARD' ADDRESS TO-MORROW NIGHT The Hon. R. Scmple, Minister of National Service, will address a public meeting in the King Street Hall to-morrow evening at 8 p.m.. His subject, 'Manpower in the War' will refer mainly to the formation of the 'Home Guard' 'in this district, and those who are in the dark regarding details will be given the opportunity of getting their information first hand.. The Minister has indicated that his visit is only concerned Avith the question of defence, and he will therefore not be available for any public business apart from that.
