WHAKATANE LADIES' GOLF

- There will be no draw for Wednesday and Saturday, October 23 and 26. Players to arrange their own partners. The result of the Stableford Bogey is as follows:— Grade A: Mrs Farmer 32. Miss V. Carter, 29. Grade G: Mrs Eggers 119. On Wednesday afternoon last the match between the President's and Captain's .teams was keenly contested, the result being all square. As each player purchased a ticket in the Runnerstrum Raffle the fund was materially assisted. Afternoon tea was supplied by the leaders of the team. On Labour Day, October 28, the Te Puke Ladies' Club will be holding a one-day tournament at Te Puke. Those wishing to take part are asked to communicate with Mrs Bullard. The Ringer competition will close on Saturday, October 26.
