J* FAREWELL TENDERED ■.r- ---■ i A popular Whakatane girl, Miss Tni Hambly, who has left to reside in Auckland,, was farewelled at a complimentary dinner tendered to her in the Gcnuneixial Hotel on. Thursday evening. Miss Hambly,' well known as a pianiste who gave her services free-* ly for patriotic functions, was presented with a bottle.. Among those present were: Mrs H. Brabant, Mrs CL Thomas, Misses S. and J. Grover, V. Woolliams. E. Daisley, B. Boswell. Messrs B. J. Best, P.Bridger, 8.-Bridger, I. Woolliams, D. Mollison, I. Tunui, M. List.
