DRAMATIC AFTERNOON Two plays were presented on Thursday afternoon last to an interested audience in the cl'ub's rooms. "'Op-o'-me-thumb" was the first play. The caste was: Madame Didier, Mrs G. Lucas; Clem, Mrs D. Pearse: Rose, Mrs C. Thomas; Celeste, Mrs Keir: Armanda. Mrs Appleby; Horace, Mrs L. Littlejohn. The second- play was "A Cure for Indifference," was cast with:. Mrs S. Tilling, Mrs A. Bridger; Helen Bainbridge, Mrs Fletcher Colls; Sophie Fayte, Mrs S. Spence; Nortlu Miss B. Allen. After the lirst play two pleasing songs were sung by Mrs N. Garter (Taneatua) accompanied by Mrs Appleby. Afternoon tea brought the afternoon to a close. In the audience were Mrs E. Armstrong, Mrs B* S. Barry, Mrs Anderson (Auckland), Mrs N. Carter». Misses M. Whiteside and A. Clarke.
