EDGECUMBE RAILWAY STATION OVERHEAD TRAVERSER APPROVED The folloAving letter has been received by Mr F. W. Doidge, M,P., from the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Raihvays: Dear Mr Doidge: Reports received by the Raihvays Department shoAV that the goods traffic, at Edgecumbe is steadily increasing and that the lack of facilities for the lifting of heavy packages is causing inconvenience. Approval has therefore been given for the prdvisioi: of a 30cAVt overhead traverser at this station "and Avhen this facility is the position Avill be much improved.
