INTER-ZONE COMMITTEE'S ALLOCATION | DISTRICT AMOUNTS In a circular to members of the Zone 'G' Whakatane County and Borough Inter-Zone Committee, the honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr C. G. Lucas, states: — You will have noticed in the New Zealand Herald of August 28th that Sir Ernest Davis, Chairman of the Auckland and Provincial Patriotic Council, has intimated that an appeal for funds for the rehabilitation of our men will be launched very shortly. The objective of the Auckland Province over a 6 months period is mentioned as being J/250,000 and of this amount it is stated that the Bay of Plenty zone is asked to subscribe £15,000. Your committee's proportion of this £15,000 allocation is £3750 which amount is apportionable as between the district committees as follows:—.

In accordance with the understanding this committee has with the Auckland Provincial Council, funds remitted to the Auckland Pro vincial Committee since this committee commenced to function will be credited to the allocation of £3750, and in this respect the following are the amounts of the credits and the nett balances yet to be collected as apply to each district.

As indicated in the circular letter of 27th August, all moneys received from the sale of raffle tickets will be credited to each committee's allocation as above.
