FALSE ALARM
FIRE BRIGADE CALLED OUT? EARLY MORNING CALL The Fire Brigade was called out at 12.1.0 this morning as the result of a malicious false alarm, given from the box at McGarvey's Road, . It is pointed out to those with such a perverted sense of humour that the penalty for this little joke, Avhich puts the brigadesmen to no ■small inconvcnience and alarms tilie populace, is a fine not exceeding '£50 or one month's imprisonment.
