SPIRITED BIDDING AT AWAKERI The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. reports a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr R. Crocker. There was a particularly large attendance of the public and bidding was vegy spirited throughout. ' A very nice well grown line of 16 3-year springing heifers averaged the good figure of £13 10s with top price of £IG. Two year heifers rather small but good quality aver-< aged £7 10s. Best quality early calving cows from £12 to £16. Later calvers from £8 to £11 10s. i A splendid range of implements in particularly good order made very satisfactory prices.
