HOURS RESTRICTED
BENZINE RESELLERS' AGREEMENT PUBLIC CO-OPERATION DESIRED The attention of readers is drawn j to a special advertisement in today's issue concerning the restrict tions of hours for the sale of benzine. Inserted by the Allied Motor Traders Association, Bay of Plenty Branch, it advises that owing to further petrol rationing the proprietors of the garages and service stations of the Borough. Ohope and Poroporo have agreed to fix the hours for the sale of benzine, the new hours commencing on Monday. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, benzine pumps will be open from 7.30 aun. to 6 p.m. On Friday the hours will be 7.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and for Sundaj7, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To provide for the sale of fuel after the above hours one of the re- * sellers named will remain -bpen, the agreement providing for a weekly rotation from 6 p.m. to 8 pan., on week daj r s other than Fridays. \ The co-operation of motorists is desired and those holding, licenses for the supply of fuel froin the-vari-ous stations are asked to purbhase their requirements during quoted. In the case of Ohope, Messrs A. L. Donaldson and G. E. Mahy will observe the same hours in weekly rotation and M. and W. Craig, at Poroporo, will also abserve the same hours, with the exception that having late night on Saturday, the hours on Sunday will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
