Parry, has requested His Worship the Mayor of Whakatane to convene a meeting of. rep-. • Teserrtatives of local authorities in the Bay. of Plenty to discuss the active prosecution of the scheme to provide, homes for children evacuated l'ronl Great Britain for the duration of the war. , Mr Barry has accordingly called a meeting, which will be held in the " Borough Council Chambers next Friday, July sth. -
