The Farmers' Go-operative Auctioneering Co. Ltd. reports:—■ Sheep: Another full yarding of fat sheep and prices for wether mutton were well maintained but in a few cases of prime quality were in advance of last sale. A large entry of fat ewes including several pens of unfinished sheep, the market being barely as good as last week. Fat lambs sold freely. Cattle: A medium j-arding of fai cattle and values f.or both ox and cow beef remained firm at last week's quotations. A pen of medium prime Polled Angus heifers from Mr J. Courtney, Te Kowhai, realised from £7 12s to £8 14s. A good yarding of fat calves and values remained on a par with late rates. A fair entry of boner cattlc and firm rates were again maintained. Pigs: A small yarding of all classes of pigs with a demand for baeoners and porkers being very keen and values slightly in advance of last week. A smaller entry of store and weaner pigs realised late ruling rates. Quotations: — Sheep: Prime heavy wethers 32s to 35s 3d; medium 29s (kl to 31s; light 27s to 28s 9d; prime young ewes 23s 6d to 265; fat ewes 22s fid to 24s 3d; medium 19s 6d to 21s: light 15s 6d to 17s; canner ewes 12s to 14s 3d; cull ewes 9s; prime lambs 24s to 275; medium 21s 6d to 235; light 19s to 21s. Cattle; Medium prime P.A. heifers £7 12s 6d to £9 ss; Heavy fat cows £7 12s to £8 14s; medium £6 Is to £6 15s; lighter £5 to £5 18s; heavy boner cows £4 2s to £4 18s; medium £3 4s to £3 19s; light £2 Is to £2 18s: Jersey runners £3 7s 6d; smaller calves 18s to 235. Pigs: Choppers £2 8s; prime topweight baconers £4 10 to £4 14s: heavy baconers £4 to £4 7s; medium £3 14s to £3 18s; light £3 7s to £? i2s; heavy porkers £2 14s tio £3 4s: medium £2 8s to £2 12s;- light £2 to £2 6s; large stores 30s to 375; weavers 8s to 16s; maiden breeding sows £3 2s, to '£3 ,12s 6d. .
