PEDESTRIAN INJURED
ELDERLY MAN KNOCKED DOWN A resident of Stewart Street, Mr "William L. Cox, retired farmer, was knocked down by a car at the Roto-rua-Whakatane-Tauranga Roads june tion, Poroporo, on Saturday evening and suffered concussion and a broken nose. He was admitted to hospital, his condition this morning being serious.
