"WHO SAID 'WAR'?"

THE SHOW' MUST GO ON We hear there's a war in Europe! Is that so, Adolf? Well, we just want to tell the public of Wliakatane, that it's not going to upset the Annual Winter Show, which will be held in the same place as it was last year. It takes more than a 'hit' from Hitler to knock this popular exhibition. Farmers, look to your root crops now, select the pick for exhibition. Ladies, glance through your schedule, and help the old' show by entering in the cooking, sewing, handwork or art sections. We want everyone this year to help make the Show bigger, brighter and better than ever.
