No. 25, Baby Benseman, 803 votes. No. 24, Baby Webster, 677 votes. No. 35, Baby Wilson, 595 votes. No. 62, Baby Carter, 571 votes. No. 17, Baby King, 491 votes. No. 3, Baby Miller, 489 votes. No. 52, Baby Cairns, 368 votes. No. 9, Baby Hogg, 304 votes. The presentation of prizes to the Avinners Avill be made by Mr A* J. Canning, Chairman of the St. John Ambulance Association in this district, and Mrs Canning, during an interval in the programme at the Regent Theatre to-morroAV evening. Whakatane section winners, i.e., 5, 64, 23,, 43, 25, 24 will take part in the Bay of Plenty-East Coast district competition, the Avinners of Avhich will compete for the North Island event, and the final will be between the North and South Islands for NeAV Zealand's most popular baby. The Bay of Plcnty-Sast Coast district embraces Rotorua, Tauranga, Whakatane,, Opotiki, Gisborne and Wairoa, and the area competition Avill run between June 5 and June 18.
