MEETING AT OTAKIRI COMMITTEES APPOINTED A general meeting of Otakiri residents was held in the Otakiri Hall last Tuesday, April 23rd to dlis cuss the forming of Otakiri Patriotic Society. Murray; secretary, Miss J. W. Pinkey; provisional secreatry, Mrs J. Tickner; treasurer,. Mr M. Kedgley; Mrs W. Murray, Mrs O. Lord, Miss D. Tunnicliffe* Mr L. Cristall* Mr R. Dunning, Mr .V/ Woods, Mr O. Lord, Mr L/ Winters, Mr J. Revell. The following Social Committee ~was also elected to arrange functions in honour of local men enlisting in the Army:— Convenor: Mr R. Dunning. Mrs Higham, Mrs J. Tickner, Mrs O. Lord., Mr O. Lord, Mr J. Revell, IMr A. Smith, Mr M. Kedgley.
