MURDER ECHO
POLICE ACTIVE ; SEARCH EXTENDS TO WIIAKATANE COUNTY Echoing the brutal double murder at Waikino on Tuesday night the Whakatane police have been prosecuting intensive inquiries in the district with a view to a possible tracing of the car used to transport the body of Mrs Hamilton for three miles, and which is also thought to have knocked down the two victims. There had been no conclusion to the inquiries this morning.
