LEAP YEAR DANCE

GATHERING AT EDGECUMBE A very successful dance was held on February 29th in Bell's Hall, Edgecumbe, by Ihe United Ancient Order of Druids. The hall was filled to capacity with dancers from all parts of the district. The Gaiety Boys' Band rendered modern and old-time music in their inimitable style and a good supper was served by the committee. Bro. F. Villis carried out the duties of M.C. in a very able manner. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Tebbutt and partner. Great credit is due for the success of the function to the committee—Mr and Mrs F. J. Villis, Mr and Mrs W. Neal, Mr and Mrs J. Mullins, Mr and Mrs F. W. Snelling, Mrs Fowell and Mr G. Hunter.
