PERSONAL

Mr and Mrs A. Parry are in Wellington. * Mr and Mrs R. Timms are at present staying in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs E. Parry are s^) ending a holiday in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs S. C. Spence, of Thorn ton Road, are at present spending a few weeks camping at Taupo. Captain F. Shirley is in command of the Clansman, vice Captain Catlicart who is on annual holiday. Misses Grace Caraway and Joy Bridget" are spending a vacation at Orewa, North Auckland. Mr and Mrs K. S. Brabant and Mrs C. N. Chamberlain are on an extended tour of the South Island. Mr Savage, chief officer of the Clansman is at present on furlough, his place being taken by Mr Stead. Mr Phil Murtagh, of Te A-wamutu has concluded a holiday in Whakatanc. Mr and Mrs H. S. Bierre, of Auckland. have been visiting Mr Calpin, of Pongakawa. Mr A. C. Carver, of Dunedin, has been visiting the East Coast and Bay of Plenty, renewing old friendships. Messrs J. Torlich, Mel Jones, and T. Carter, who were staying at the Commercial Hotel, have returned to Te Awamutu.
