PULLED GATE OFF HINGES William Hoi', a farm hand, of Poroporo, was in high spirits on New Year's Eve and his exuberance cost him a fine of 10s and 15s costs in the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, when he was charged with behaving in a disorderly manner. Constable Fuller stated that defendant was one of a party who paraded on the night of December 31st, and after entering the property of Mr Ernest Walker, pulled a large gate off its hinges.
