, TANEATUA BRANCH MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Domain Pavilion. Mrs Hill presided over a good attendance of members. The creed was read and discussions took 1 place regarding the coming garden; ' party to be held on the 30th inst. Good entries were received for the monthly competitions. A vote of r thanks was accorded the judges. ! Competitions: Queen cakes, Mrs i Prideaux 1, Mrs Frost 2. Boy's pants - Mrs Hill 1, Mrs Frost 2. Flowers (single), Mrs Munro 1, Mrs Tocker 2. Flowers (double), Mrs Munro 1, Mrs Fox 2. > The hostesses were Mrs Prideaux t and the Misses Foster and Brown.
