BACONERS TO *3 19s

The Farmers' Auctioneering Company report having held their fortnightly sale at the above yards on Monday, when they ofTered a large yarding of pigs to a full bench of buyers. A good entry of baconers met with keen competition outside buyers operating freely. We quote:

Heavy baconers £3 15s to £3 19s, medium baconers £3 7s to £3 l;4s, light baconers £3 to £3 ss, heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 15s, medium porkers £2 3s to £2 Bs, large stores £2 10s to £3, slips 33s to 395, weaners good to 275, medium to 235, small 10s to 16s: ' "
