DUPLICATION OF MEETING
NOTHING MISSED
A singular feature of the annual meeting of shareholders of the Wha katane Paper Mills last Monday was the complete record of the remarks made by all speakers, by virtue of the Telecord Dictaphone. This device, is yet another indication of the co-operation of science Avith business. Ordinary conversation was recorded by a minute microphone suspended from the ceiling, conduct ed by Ilex to the dictaphone where a record was made of the entire proceedings. A stenographer Avith a noiseless typewriter transferred the proceedings to paper by the aid of earphones which enabled her to follow the conversations at a regulated speed.
