BACONERS TO v :3 16s

The Farmers' Co-op. Auctioneering Co. report having held their fortnightly pig sale at the above yards on Monday. We offered an over advertised yarding to a full bench of buyers from both outside and local. Competition was keen throughout and the whole yarding sold under the hammer.

We quote: Heavy baconers £3 12s to £3 16s, medium £3 5s to £3 10s, heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 18s, medium porkers £2 ,3s to £2 Bs, light £2 to £2 3s, large stores and buttermilk pigs £2 (is to £2 JB.s, slips 32s to 3fis, weaners, good, to 2Gs (kl, medium weaners lis to 21s, choppers, a good yarding from £2 3s to £3 16s. The next sale will be held on Monday, November 20.
