WOMEN'S DIVISION

MEETING AT AWAKERI

The monthly meeting of the Awakeri Women's Division was held recently. Mrs Luxlon presiding over a good attendance of members. After the reading of the creed the minutes were read and business attended to.

A letter from headquarters -was read regarding the war emergency regulations but was over for

consideration

Arrangements were made for the annual display of flowers to lie held in the Awakeri Hall on Friday, November 17th.

Competitions were won by the following-: Best Flower, Mrs H. Luke 1, Miss Greenup 2, Mrs Dodunski 3. Child's Print Frock, .Airs J. Graham 1, Mrs X. McDonald 2, Mrs H. Luke •'». Scones, Mrs L. Luke 1, Mrs W. Brizzle 2, Mrs 11. Luke 3. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses Mesdames Graham, Jones and Knight.
