HOCKEY
TARANAKI TOUR CANCELLED As the result of a telegram received bv Mr C. President of the Whakatanc Hockey Club j from Mr E. Urry, secretary of 'the Taranaki Hockey Association, stating that the Taranaki representative hockey teams tour is definitely cancelled, all arrangements made by the local association for the match to be held on the Domain on Saturday, September 9th as advertised are likewise caiv celled.
