WHAKATANE CLUB Further progress results of the club championships arc as follows: Senior: Rangi beat Horrocks beat Hedley. Intermediate: Clark beat Campbell Henderson beat Alexander by default Junior: Barry beat Grey, Moore beat Littlejohn, Newman beat Preston . The draw for the semi-finals Is: Cradwick plays winner of Hyland v Roberts, Rangi plays llorrocks j Mont gomery plays winner of Morpeth v Smith, Henderson plays A. D. G. Morpeth plays Newman, Barry plays Moore. There will be a flag match for the remainder, players to choose their own partners. The visit to Te Puke arranged for next week-end has been cancelled owing to the petrol restrictions.
