The points gain, ed were: Whakatane 207, -Awaked 174. Results:— Ladies' Doubles: Misses I. and ,F. Woodberry lot to Mrs Cato ar»d Miss Jacombs 21-11; Mrs Woodberry and Miss Cleland lost to Misses Blythe and Woolliams 21-5; Mrs Woodberry and Miss Cleland lost to Mrs Cato and Miss Jacombs 21-7; Misses I. and F. Woodberry beat Misses Blythe and Woolliams 21.7. Men's Doubles: J. Hyland and K. Villis beat Wilson and Howat 21-11; F. Villis and Woodberry lost to Young and Timbs 21-20; F. Villis and Woodberry lost to Wilson and Howat 21_10; Hyland and Villis lost to Timbs and Young 21-7. Combines: Mrs Woodberry and Hyland beat Miss Blvthc and Wilson 21-17; M\ss I. Woodberry and Villis beat Mrs Cato and Timbs 21.18; Miss F. Woodberry and F. Villis beat Miss Woolliams and Young 21-0; Miss Cleland and Woodberry lost to Miss Jacombs and Howat 21-13.
