SERIOUS INJURY

EYE PIERCED BY SPLINTER While chopping firewood on Friday Mr Perrin, of Katikoti, met with a serious accident. One of the pieces of wood flew up and pierced his eye. The unfortunate man "Was brought to the Tauranga Hospital, where an examinat'on showed that the eye was seriously injured, necessitating treatment by an eye specialist. Mr l'crrin was taken to Hamilton immediately.
